The Glidetrack is lightweight, and takes up next to no room in the boot of your car. You can have your Glidetrack assembled, ready to start shooting in under sixty seconds. Then, once you have your shot, you just lift the Glidetrack and tripod up , re-position and start shooting again.

It utilises Industrial grade maintenance free, self lubricating plastic bearings that run smoothly and quietly on lightweight extruded aluminium rails.

 The feet have rubber "dots" to stop them from moving on slippy surfaces.These support feet also make an excellent hand grip when tripod mounted. This makes it even easier to obtain beautiful smooth glides.

Your Glidetrack can be used either tripod mounted, or floor mounted which opens up a whole host of possibilities for different shots. The track offers a full metre of travel. Your Glidetrack will be shipped with both 1/4 20 and 3/8 mountings.

You have the option of mounting it centrally on a single tripod, or, if being rock solid is key, then you can spread the weight across two tripods. We supply mounting threads in the middle and at either end to give you various options.

 You can either mount the track using a quick release plate of your choosing or, for example, if using a Velbon tripod, just unscrew the tripod head, and screw the track to the stud on the legs, and the head to the carriage mount. Works Great!
