Glidetrack Explained
Glidetrack is an elegantly simple, compact and portable camera slider or dolly, that allows you to introduce a wide variety of high-end creative shots, that simply couldn’t be achieved with the standard set up of hand held or tripod mounted video camera.
The Glidetrack consists of a moving "carriage" plate that slides along industrial grade extruded rail. By mounting your camera to this sliding plate, you are able to perform gliding reveal type shots. Due to its small size, the Glidetrack can be used just about anywhere, which is something traditional dolly setups simply cannot do. In addition to being able to mount the unit on a tripod, the sturdy feet ensure that you can also use the Glidetrack floor mounted for ultra low shots.
With over 4000 user videos on Vimeo (and growing daily), and thousands of happy customers worldwide, you can judge for yourself how well the Glidetrack performs and what it can bring to your productions.
Below you will find a wide range of video links that will highlight exactly what Glidetrack can help you achieve, more than any words.
