Glide Track - The portable dolly system

Things are just non-stop right now in the Glidetrack office. Not only have we recently announced the imminent arrive of the mobislyder but we  released the SD Hybrid model a few weeks back.

Think we’re done there? Think again.

Today sees the official launch of the XD Hybrid – the final piece in the hybrid jigsaw to compliment the SD and HD Hybrids.

The Glidetrack HD and SD Hybrids were really successful so we’re positive that the XD will follow suit. Developed in conjunction with Igus®. It has been designed to offer an evolution of the traditional plain Drylin carriage systems.

XD Hybrid includes:

•             Four Igus hybrid bearings

•             Hard anodized, aluminium, high precision extruded industrial grade rail

XD Hybrid

Glidetrack XD Hybrid is tailor-made for professional use including professional film crews and TV companies. We developed the XD Hybrid  in response to demand from professional crews for a Glidetrack to handle larger production type cameras. The big appeal of the Glidetrack XD Hybrid is that crews find it allows them to get dolly shots in spaces/places that a traditional dolly system simply can’t go near.

Its simplicity and ease of use makes it a huge time saver, which is a major factor when keeping an eye on production budgets.

Available in three sizes: 1, 1.5 and 2m rails at a cost of £575, £625 and £675 respectively.

At Glidetrack we love to constantly evolve our sliders to ensure that they work to their maximum potential out in the field. The more you use them, the more you tell us and the better the next generation of Glidetrack sliders will evolve to.
