And more bikes…….

by Alastair on Jul.28, 2010, under Videos

push bikes this time. Joel Mielle sent me this clip he shot using his Glidetrack and 7d that he took with him whilst cycling. Another great example of how you can produce amazing shots with the minimum of gear.

Adam Rook – Altima

by Alastair on Jul.26, 2010, under Videos

Adam Rook had so many good Glidetrack shots from his shoot that he decided to put the un-used ones together into a short video. Cool or what!

Here is what Adam has to say –

“The thing I like the most about the Glidetrack is it’s portability and light weight. I love that I can simply
unscrew the Glidetrack from my tripod, place it on the ground and get some really interesting shots in
less than 30 seconds. When I filmed the car I was by myself and all I had was my 7D, a tripod and my
Glidetrack. I grabbed the keys from the dealer and tossed everything in the trunk (or boot).”

Glidetrack – Timelapse Sequence

by Alastair on Jul.11, 2010, under Videos

John De Rienzo sent us this really nice piece, that demonstrates just how hugely versatile the Glidetrack can be. With one elegantly simple, compact and lightweight piece of equipment look what he achieved.

I’ll let John take over the story….

“What an amazing piece of kit to have with us on our recent visit to Cornwall. The Glidetrack shooter has changed the way we film and has opened our eyes to more creative shots that before were not possible. It also forces you to think of different ways to acquire a shot from different angles and perspectives adding to your creative decisions! We even used it for tilt and pan shots with great effect. The most striking thing about the glidetrack is how much little movement is required to produce the beautiful shots. I’m amazed when I get back home and watch the footage! It turns 2D images into that 3rd dimension. Compact, portable, easy to use and fantastic results all in one. What more can I ask. Essential to anyone serious about there filmmaking. Best purchase by far! ”

Sometimes a little is more than enough!

by Alastair on Jul.11, 2010, under Videos

Ezaram Vambe sent me a link to this short clip he did using his Glidetrack Compact 0.5m. He says….”Hey Alastair!
Bought a Glidetrack compact from you a few months back and I really enjoyed using it on my latest shoot… No long tracks, just nice and slow to create a mood … Still learning I guess but really impressed with its power…”

I think this clip beautifully demonstartes how, just a little movement , can bring your shot to life.

Well done Ezaram.
