I have checked and the LCDVF will fit the 550D screen. You loose a tiny, tiny, tiny amount on either side. It is hardly worth mentioning, as it really is negligible, however, I thought it was worth being 100% honest.

Just got me one of these today and I REALLY like it.  Already have a 7d, so it felt quite natural from the word go. It’s TINY! Spent a bit of time setting it up with a cup of tea and the manual and then bunged a SIgma 30mm 1.4 on and a Glidetrack Shooter before grabbing some quick shots around the house (why does it always rain when you want to film outside?). Anyway, thought you may be interested!
